What I aspire to be: Designer for fashion brands. I want to be able to design the user interface and experience of mobile apps for fashion brands which involve designing apps for shopping and virtual try-ons. And also conducting user research to understand the needs, behaviors, and preferences of fashion consumers. The insights gathered to help brands develop products and online experiences that align with user desires and pain points.
What picked my interest was my frequent online shopping habits. My personal experience was using a clothing app for outfit recommendations, but it took too long for me to find what I was looking for as the layout felt overwhelming thus I feel the app's design doesn’t help you, and from then I’ve always wondered how it could be made more efficient and user-friendly. I begin questioning myself: "How can I improve this flow to make it more intuitive?" Fascinated by how design choices impact user experience and realize that thoughtful design can make apps much easier to use, sparking my interest in UX design.
I was one of the leaders in my dance group, and I helped plan and coordinate a Teachers’ Day surprise event for our teachers. My role involved planning the overall flow of the surprise, coordinating with group members, and ensuring everything was prepared ahead of time which included deciding on the timing, organizing gifts, rehearsing the sequence of activities, and making sure everyone knew their roles. We also documented the moment through photos to capture the experience and preserve it as a meaningful memory, the experience strengthened my event management, leadership, and adaptability skills.
I and two other dance leaders helped facilitate a tote bag–making activity for elderly participants as part of a community engagement program with my dance CCA. Working amongst us leaders, we planned a simple and engaging activity suitable for seniors, organized materials, and grouped participants into small teams to ensure individual support. During the session, I guided participants, encouraged interaction, and helped maintain a warm and inclusive environment. This experience strengthened my skills in event facilitation, participant care, teamwork, and adapting activities for different age groups, which aligns closely with supporting community-focused cultural programs and workshops.
I helped organize and run a dance CCA recruitment booth for Secondary 1 students, where my team and I designed posters, set up the booth, engaged with students, and performed a short dance showcase to introduce our activities. This experience strengthened my skills in event setup, visual communication, teamwork, and engaging participants in a friendly and approachable way.

I led the conceptualization and branding of a class T-shirt in collaboration with my teacher, managing the design from concept to final production within strict deadlines. The images shows my design process from thinking of the logos and quote for what to put in the class T-shirts to the color palette and fonts. After multiple re-edits and re-designing of the logos, I've came out with the final product and sent it to my teacher which we both approved of.
I helped facilitate a National Day engagement program for elderly participants, where my group and I led interactive activities such as a block-stacking (brick) game and simple exercise movements. We adapted the activities to be safe, engaging and suitable for seniors, encouraged participation and maintained an energetic and inclusive atmosphere.
In a bright, cheerful playroom, Fiona builds, plays, and waits. But as the walls shift and time blurs, the game takes a darker turn and she always end up finding herself back where she started, playing as if nothing happened. The playroom isn’t just a room; it’s a loop, a game without an exit. The real question is: Who’s playing who? What happens when playtime never ends?
I created a short birthday video using CapCut, where I edited clips together and applied transitions and visual effects to tell a cohesive story. This experience helped me develop basic video editing, visual storytelling, and content creation skills.
